Got a quote for a new swamp cooler and install for $4500.00 (mind you I currently have one, so duct work, wiring, etc. not needed plus the cooler unit at home depot is only $800; which means Alaskan is charging almost $4k for their labor). Called the Cooler Guy and for all the same work (install/unit) the price was $2k with a better warranty and a 10% military discount. Good service from staff. The new RHEEM AC unit I bought at Home Depot frequently needed repairs which was very discouraging and pricey.
I was pleased that the tech was able to fix the issue.
I thought the issue would have been found before a problem existed however as part of the maintnenace contract I have the untits under and so avoided. I have many unitis under contract at several locations where I get a call and inspection and do not recall having had any recent inspection at this property?
