I am so unhappy with the service from this company! I had a brand new a/c & heating unit installed in July 2011. It has never worked properly. I paid $7,500. In the summers it blows hot air and in the winters it blows cold air. They have been rude and disrespectful to me. I currently have no heat. They are now telling me it's $2,000 to fix it. I have called another company to help me. I would NEVER recommend Alaskan Home Services to anyone.

On “Guru” Everything
Alaskan came to my home the day I called. They fixed the problem the following day. When you have issues with A/C in your home, it is nice to know that you have a company that will be responsive, detail driven and caring.

This was my first time using Alaskan and besides the hard to find leak that I needed fixed I was using this as a trial run for future work in my home. Steve, the technician, was very conscientious and put in the extra effort to make certain that things were fixed correctly. He did such a great job that I am having him put in a new hot water heater later this week. When my parents AC stopped working this company helped them very quickly. With them being up in their 80's they could not afford to be without heat-relief for very long and they certainly did not want to have to go to a hotel. Alaskan Home Services came out quickly and carefully repaired their problem with a minimum of fuss. It is good to know that people like this exist yet today. My parents were quite satisfied and did not feel as though they were "ripped off" when in need of fast service....Read more
