About us:


Ambrose Construction, now known as Ambrose Solar, started in 2013 offering remodeling and construction services. Over time, after witnessing poor customer treatment and subpar workmanship in the solar industry, Pat and Ian founded Ambrose Solar in 2017.


With a focus on excellent customer service and high-quality products, they have grown rapidly and now provide residential and commercial full-service solar and energy storage installation. Ambrose Solar’s commitment to their customers is evident through their dedication to being the best in the industry.

            I used Ambrose Solar to add panels to my existing solar system. Their whole team is professional, knowledgeable and personable. They did the work in a timely manner, explained how the system worked and interfaced with PG & E to get the system authorized. The price for the panels was also reasonable & come with a 25 year warranty from Sun Power. Very happy with Ambrose Solar.

            Ambrose installed my panels in February of 2019. They did a good job. There was one minor issue with the roof tile re-installation which they took care of shortly after bringing to their attention. I do not write reviews during the "honeymoon" period after installation. I wait until..........? Last week (1/15/2024) I notice on the tiles on the upper rook was slipping out of place.             I had Solar now for a month through Ambrose Solar. I am very happy with their excellent and professional service starting with Paul Barber, sale person, office support personnel and installation crew. They were very helpful and professional to make my Solar an A plus experience possible . The Sunpower monitoring service is great. The Solar system is rated one of the best and the price is very reasonably competitive. I would recommend them to everyone.

            I received 3 quotes for a solar system on my home. I was going to just get 2 and go with a company that I had used at my previous home but I said to myself “let’s see if a local company offers SunPower equipment and can beat the other quotes in prices. I called Ambrose Solar and they were out the next day to give me a quote.
