Ambrose Construction, now known as Ambrose Solar, started in 2013 offering remodeling and construction services. Over time, after witnessing poor customer treatment and subpar workmanship in the solar industry, Pat and Ian founded Ambrose Solar in 2017.


With a focus on excellent customer service and high-quality products, they have grown rapidly and now provide residential and commercial full-service solar and energy storage installation. We had Ambrose Solar install a Solar system on our 4 bedroom home in March 2019. We no longer have an electric bill with PG$E! Yea!!! The install was impeccable and the customer service and attention to detail was the best! The sales people, customer service and installers at Ambrose Solar are all nu one! After getting 3 estimates I chose Ambrose Solar because the owners are local and their price was very compatible and the SunPower panels are considered by many to be the best in the industry. I... They installed a new electric panel for us last year during the solar installation. A couple days ago half of house was without power. I sent an email to Noelle to ask if she had any recommendation for the fix. She gave me the solution within a few hours. The electricians were really professional and they took care of the problem (turned out to be loss connections) in no time. Great communication throughout. They stand behind their services 100%.

Just purchased an off grid home that had been neglected in the energy department for some time. I didn’t know where to start. It probably would have taken me a week and many trips to the store to figure it all out.
