I first contacted the company in March to start the process of getting our roof repaired. After several attempts we finally got a response. We signed an agreement for the work on April 12.
IF (and after all the delays, no shows and lack of communication from Long Roofing, that's a big 'if'), they finally show up next week, it will have been 5 months to the day from when the agreement was signed to when the work will be completed. That's ridiculous.
Pretty woeful customer service.
The first two estimates were by the book, and much like a trip to the car dealership. "I can't give you the roof for less than X, let me call my supervisor..." Finally, I got a price more similar to other leading competition. I was willing to pay a couple hundred more than them because of Long's reputation. It's a good looking roof, expertly installed, expeditiously.
