Probably can’t get a better shingle roof; but prepare to overpay.
Two salesmen arrived in separate luxury vehicles to pitch why I need their elite asphalt shingle roof system. The pitch lasted almost two hours. Then came the price….$32 thousand for a small colonial (14 squares with no valleys or skylights).
After 30 minutes of saying that’s way too much, and the “let me call my manager” pitch, they eventually got down to $15 k (only if I gave a deposit on the spot.).
