Over the weekend, Pinnacle Roofing and Skylights participated In a real life game of Hasbro's Operation at Rhode Island Medical Imaging in Cranston, RI.


Pinnacle assisted by removing a commercial dome skylight so that a MRI machine could removed by crane through a very small opening in the roof. RI Medical Imaging replaced this machine with a more modern MRI machine. After the operation was complete, Pinnacle Roofing and Skylights, sealed the "patient" up by reinstalling the skylight and ensuring the openging was sealed (flashed) properly.

For this skylight project, Pinnacle partnered with Hill & Harbor Design+Build for an addition with a dramatic Velux structural skylight. The commercial division of Velux manufacturers custom designed skylights for commercial and residential applications. This skylight spans 14 feet long by 4 feet wide and has 8 panes of tempered glass over laminated glass.
