Pinnacle Roofing replaced this aging roof in the Riverdale Condominium complex. The association chose the Landmark PRO in the Pewterwood color to complement the gray shingle siding.


The Landmark Pro architectural shingles improve upon the CertainTeed Landmark shingle, a leading consumer publication’s “Best Buy” for the past five years. The Pro adds more weathering asphalt to the industry’s toughest fiberglass mat to provide more protection and weighs 250 lbs/square. Also, this shingle carries a 50-year limited transferable warranty against manufacturing defects on group-owned or commercial applications.


The old skylights were updated to Velux fixed skylights. These are an economical choice to visually expand areas in the home with natural daylight and sky views and have a clean exterior profile that provides natural light without obstructing roofline. Added benefits include:

Clean, Quiet & Safe Glass 

• This Silicon dioxide makes Neat® glass evaporates water quickly and reduces spots.

Dual pane glass with Argon gas

• Argon gas is injected into its dual glass panes for better insulation and noise reduction by up to 25% less than a standard double pane glass.

Laminated LowE3 Glass

• LoE3 for ultraviolet protection and provides excellent energy performance for year-round comfort. It includes the added safety of laminated glass, which building codes require for out-of-reach applications.

Pinnacle Roofing and Skylights replaced two old skylights with new Velux Solar-Powered Venting Skylights.


The Velux Solar Powered "Fresh Air" Skylights feature a solar panel that captures any available daylight to recharge a highly efficient, fully concealed, battery-powered operator and control system that allows the skylight open/closed at a touch of a button. Also there is a built-in rain sensor that automatically closes the window in case of stormy weather. The remote control allows for seasonal energy efficiency to open skylight to provide fresh air and reduce heat.
