CertainTeed's Northgate ClimateFlex is designed and manufactured in the north for cold and harsh weather climates. NorthGate incorporates SBS-modified asphalt and is unmatched by other standard asphalt shingles. The rubberizing aspect of SBS allows greater flexibility so the shingles resist cracking even in extreme cold weather, allowing for year-round application. SBS also offers superior granule adhesion, which is one of the key components in protecting the shingle against the elements.

We installed the CertainTeed Integrity Roof System with Landmark architectural shingles in the Moire Black color. Landmark architectural shingles that have complex granule color blends and subtle shadow lines produce a distinctive color selection and carry a limited lifetime warranty. Landmark series shingles are composed of a fiberglass mat base and then ceramic-coated mineral granules are tightly embedded in carefully refined, water-resistant asphalt. Two pieces of the shingle are firmly laminated together in a special, tough asphaltic cement.

Additionally, we installed CertainTeed Flintlastic rolled asphalt on the on the low-slope dormer roof.CertainTeed's Flintlastic® SA roofing membrane is a premium, self-adhering SBS modified bitumen roofing material suitable for use in accordance with CertainTeed specifications for most low-slope roof system applications.
