Pinnacle Roofing assisted this homeowner with a historical roof renovation. This house is over 300 years old and had the original 14" old oak planks for the roof substrate. While the oak was as solid as rock, there were gaps in the sheathing so we installed plywood over the old decking to provide a solid surface for a new shingle roof. the sold deck is required for both manufacturer specifications and building code.
After we had a good surface to work with we installed the CertainTeed Integrity Roof System with the Landmark Granite Gray asphalt shingle.
