We are in Barrington, RI working on a home that is being completely renovated. Pinnacle Roofing is replacing both the roof and the skylights.
The old roof is being replaced with CertainTeed's Northgate ClimateFlex shingle. This shingle is designed and manufactured in the north for cold and harsh weather climates. NorthGate incorporates SBS-modified asphalt and is unmatched by other standard asphalt shingles.
The old skylights are being replaced with Velux Solar Powered "Fresh Air" Skylight with Solar Powered Blinds. The Solar Powered "Fresh Air" Skylight features a solar panel that captures any available daylight and is the power source that opens and closes the skylight. A rain sensor is built in to close the unit in the event that inclement weather arises while you're away.
