Pinnacle Roofing is proud to be a SELECT ShingleMaster credentialed roofing contractor. We have the belief that to keep growing, you must keep learning. This is why our install crews and staff at Pinnacle Roofing take classes with CertainTeed so that we are masters in product knowledge and learn the latest and greatest in the installation process. Most of the roof replacements we install only take a single day, and we can offer manufacturer labor and material warranties.

This homeowner was interested in bringing in more natural light into their home. After analyzing the desired room and roof/attic configuration, Pinnacle Roofing & Skylights recommended a Velux Sun Tunnel® Skylight for the dark bathroom and living room. A sun tunnel brings natural light into homes through a specially designed tunnel that passes from roof to ceiling and are a simple and cost-effective way to add natural light to all spaces. The VELUX Sun Tunnels are made with a highly reflective tunnel that daylight travels down from your roof to the space below uninhibited. 


Additonally, Pinnacle recommended the VELUX Sun Tunnel Solar Night Light. When the sun goes down, a moon-like glow lights your way. It felt like Pinnacle Roofing went back in time when we replaced an old rubber roof on a circa 1900 hunting lodge in Harmony, RI. This old rubber roof was replaced with a new EPDM rubber roof and 1" of Poly ISO insulation to improve the efficiency of the existing house attic insulation.


Pinnacle recommended Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) which is a high-density, synthetic rubber that provides long-term (30+ years) durability and weatherability. It offers quick and easy installation, and its elasticity is ideal for freeze/thaw conditions and hail-prone areas.


The Poly ISO Flat insulations consist of a closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core laminated to heavy, (non-asphaltic) glass fiber-reinforced felt facers that we adhere the EPDM with high strength solvent-based contact adhesive that allows quick bonding of EPDM membrane.


Lastly, instead of securing the rubber with a silver termination bar, we finished the edges with bronze edge metal to complement the copper flashing.
