Pinnacle Roofing is proud to be a SELECT ShingleMaster credentialed roofing contractor. We have the belief that to keep growing, you must keep learning. This is why our install crews and staff at Pinnacle Roofing take classes with CertainTeed so that we are masters in product knowledge and learn the latest and greatest in the installation process. Most of the roof replacements we install only take a single day, and we can offer manufacturer labor and material warranties.

Pinnacle Roofing replaced this low-pitched roof with a solution designed specifically for this application. For this rear roof in Barrington, RI, we installed Self-Adhered Modified Bitumen Roof System which delivers the reliable protection of traditional modified bitumen roofing. Rolled asphalt is an attractive roof available in multiple colors to match the main roof and in this case we installed Slate Gray. Rolled asphalt systems are used in both residential and commercial applications 


The two key components of a rolled asphalt roof include:


SA Base Sheet

A premium self-adhered, fiberglass reinforced, modified bitumen membrane (with fire retardant additives)* manufactured to meet the toughest code requirements of the industry. SA Base Sheet & SA Base Sheet FR are manufactured using Adeso® dual-compound technology, where the membrane consists of Styrene Butadiene Styrene (SBS) modified asphalt compound on top and a pressure sensitive adhesive compound on the bottom. The adhesive is covered with a split release liner. SA Base Sheet & Base Sheet FR are finished with a polyolefin film with printed lay lines on the top surface.


SA-SBS Cap Sheet

SA-SBS Cap Sheet & SA-SBS Cap Sheet FR are a premium self-adhering polyester reinforced modified bitumen membrane manufactured to meet the toughest code requirements of the industry. SA-SBS Cap Sheet & SA-SBS Cap Sheet FR are manufactured using Adeso® dual-compound technology, whereby the membrane consists of a Styrene Butadiene Styrene (SBS) modified asphalt compound on top and a pressure sensitive adhesive compound on the bottom. The adhesive is covered with a split release liner. SA-SBS Cap Sheet & SA-SBS Cap Sheet FR are finished with granules on the top surface and features SEALLap® ULTRA side lap with self-adhesive compound for an instant bond, tested stronger than all other application methods and FASTLap®, granule free end lap. Each of these patented features provide for greater ease of application as well as improved long-term performance.

Matt and Scott were very friendly and polite to work with. Had a new roof and gutters installed. Their subcontractors did a great job and cleaned up after all the work.
