Pinnacle Roofing & Skylights was fortunate to work right in the heart of Harmony, RI for the restoration of this old turn of the century hunting lodge. The old flat roof was severely leaking and needed to be replaced. We removed the upper rubber membrane with soaked fiberboard to find a tar and gravel roof. Per building code removed the wet insulation and all the loose tar and gravel until we got to a solid substrate. We then started new with poly iso insulation and secured that with commercial screws and plates. Then we installed the EPDM membrane with a low-VOC adhesive. At the seams we utilized double-sided seam tape to ensure a continuous waterproof membrane. Around the edges we installed new edge metal with cured cover tape so the roof edges are secure and watertight.
Harmony is a village and census-designated place[4] in Providence County, Rhode Island, United States, in the town of Glocester, located on U.S. Route 44 (Putnam Pike). As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 985.[5]

The historic 1816 Harmony Chapel and Cemetery are located at the center of the village. Several restaurants, the Harmony Library and golf courses are located nearby. In the early nineteenth century, a toll boothof the Glocester Turnpike was located in Harmony to raise funds to maintain the road, until it was abolished in the 1850s.
