When we removed the old shingles from the roof we had a surprise underneath. The roof was poorly ventilated, causing excess condensation and moisture to delaminate the plywood decking. We replaced the sheets of plywood that were no longer suitable for the new roof. We installed the Landmark shingle in Heather Blend as part of the CertainTeed Integrity Roof System.

We replaced an old roof with CertainTeed asphalt shingles for the steep-pitch roof and rolled asphalt for the low-pitch roof.


Pinnacle Roofing replaced an old roof with multiple materials to address the unique characteristics of this roof. We installed CertainTeed Landmark Pro asphalt shingle for the steep-pitched roof and Flintlastic self-adhering SBS modified bitumen roofing system for the low-slope roof section.


Steep-Pitch Roof Roof Solution:

For the traditional sloped roof parts of the roof, we installed asphalt shingles from CertainTeed. The Landmark Pro architectural shingles improve upon the CertainTeed Landmark shingle, a leading consumer publication’s “Best Buy” for the past five years. The Pro adds more weathering asphalt to the industry’s toughest fiberglass mat to provide more protection and weighs 250 lbs/square. Also, the Landmark Pro has the Premium Max Def color palette plus a 15-year StreakFighter® algae resistance warranty.


Low-Pitch Roof Roof Solution:

Fror the rear roof section, we installed materials used extensively for flat, low-slope roof applications where water may not drain quickly, and thus the roofs need to be waterproof. The Flintlastic Self-Adhered Modified Bitumen (SA Mod-Bit) roof system delivers the reliable protection of traditional modified bitumen roofing. The advantage for homeowners is availability in ten colors designed and engineered to match the most popular shingle color blends. Rolled asphalt systems are used in both residential and commercial applications with the advantage of being lower cost.

Matt and Scott were very friendly and polite to work with. Had a new roof and gutters installed. Their subcontractors did a great job and cleaned up after all the work.
