Pinnacle Roofing replaced this older roof with several different roofing materials, including asphalt shingles on the steep slopes, EPDM rubber membrane for the old low-slope roof section, and silicone roof coating for the newer low-slope roof sections.
Pinnacle Roofing replaced the old asphalt shingles with CertainTeed's NorthGate, which is designed and manufactured in the north for cold and harsh weather climates. NorthGate incorporates SBS-modified asphalt and is unmatched by other standard asphalt shingles. The rubberizing aspect of SBS allows greater flexibility so the shingles resist cracking even in extreme cold-weather, allowing for year-round application. SBS also offers superior granule adhesion which is one of the key components in protecting the shingle against the elements.
Pinnacle replaced the old low-slope roof with Rubber Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) is a high-density, synthetic rubber that provides long-term (20+ years) durability and weatherability. In addition, EPDM is a high tensile strength membrane ideal for long-term watertight integrity and its elasticity is ideal for freeze/thaw conditions.
Lastly, on the newer low-slope roof, Pinnacle could renew the old EPDM roof with a silicone roof system. The Silicone Roof Coating System provides a proven, guaranteed solution for renewing your weathered roof. It can be applied to the existing roof surface to create a seamless membrane that protects against permanent ponding water, ultraviolet light, and severe weather.

Pinnacle Roofing and Skylights replaced two 25 year old skylights for us. Everything from the free estimate, scheduling and flexibility in timing of our project was easy.
