We are part of a complete exterior renovation. This project was not only a roof replacement but also a rebuild of damaged rafters, wood roof deck, soffit, and fascia. A tree hit this house and caused enough damage for us to assist with an insurance claim. We started by stripping off the old three-tab shingles to determine what was damage underneath the point of impact.We had to rebuild several rafters before we could install the new wood roof deck and soffit system. Pinnacle utilized a break to bend the new metal for the fascia. Finally, we installed the CertainTeed Integrity Roof System with shingles in the Pewterwood color.
The insurance company only paid to replace the three-tab shingle that was currently on the roof, but Pinnacle Roofing was able to upgrade to the CertainTeed Landmark shingle. These architectural shingles that have complex granule color blends and subtle shadow lines produce a distinctive color selection and carry a limited lifetime warranty. Landmark series shingles are composed of a fiberglass mat base and then ceramic- coated mineral granules are tightly embedded in carefully refined, water-resistant asphalt. Two pieces of the shingle are firmly laminated together in a special, tough asphaltic cement.
