We had a positive experience working with Tam Floors. We love the hardwood floor color that we picked out... it looks great and the installers did a really nice job installing. Our stairway looks fantastic and we also did a large hallway and four bedrooms.

Tamalpais floors has many years of experience laying specialty hardwood floors. I was looking for European Oak with a very natural finish. Dermot and David had a lot of patience explaining all the options so I could visualize what the end result could look like. The staircase was our biggest challenge. Nothing is square and we had to cover parts of the wall before a glass railing could be put up. They send us their best carpenters to do the job and I am super happy with the end result. Tamalpais...

Super helpful and professional organization. They were great in helping me fine tune the decisions on the final product, and the two men who installed the flooring (which had --I suspect most homes have--some squirelly floor details) did a fantastic job! Everyone who comes to visit will now go shoeless or wear shoe protection booties! Definitely worth the money.

Tamalpais crew, Herson and Isidro, were very professional. They did an outstanding job for about 2000 sf of floor space. It was quite challenging, as they had to deal with irregular shape corners. They worked hard and performed their task with love and attention to detail and always with a big smile! My hardwood floors look amazing. No more wall to wall carpets. I would hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone that needs to have their floors very professionally done.
