Smith Builders, particularly Mike Gray and Ted Murray did a spectacular job on a roof replacement for my father. They were responsive, diligent, thorough and communicated every step of the way. Mike, as the Project Manager, was always available for any questions, gave regular updates, and followed through with every thing he said from the very beginning. This is the only roofing company I’ll use - I highly recommend Smith Builders for any roofing needs!
Thank you so much for the high recommendation! We are thrilled to hear that Mike and Ted delivered a spectacular experience for your father. At Smith Builders, we believe that following through from start to finish is the foundation of a good project. Mike takes his role as Project Manager seriously, and I’ll be sure to share your kind words with both him. Thank you for making us your go-to roofing company!
I hired Smith Builders because they are a maine company. I was surprised when Massachusetts workers showed up in my yard. They worked hard but made por decisions. They decided to tear my roof off 4 hours before a large rain storm. We were up most of the night emptying buckets an changing towels. In the end they replaced... Read more
We are truly sorry for the stress and damage caused by the poor timing of your roof tear-off. At Smith Builders, our goal is to protect homes, not put them at risk. While we immediately deployed a restoration company to dry out your home and covered all sheetrock repairs, we realize the inconvenience went beyond just the physical damage. We hear your frustrations regarding our decision to work through the rain and the level of compensation provided. Your feedback is being taken to heart as we review our weather safety and customer service policies. Thank you for your patience during the restoration process.
I contacted Smith Builders through their website for a new roof and siding estimate. Zachary Christian got in touch to work over the details of the quotes. He wrote up multiple quotes based on different options we had spoken about. All the work was done efficiently by the technicians with attention to detail. I was able to speak with Eric the siding foreman during the project and he was able to answer any questions or concerns I had. Overall every one from Smith Builders crew was great to work w... Zachary Christian takes great pride in providing detailed, customizable quotes so our clients can make the best decision for their homes. It’s also great to hear that Eric was able to provide that on-site peace of mind during the siding phase. We believe communication is just as important as the craftsmanship, and we’re thrilled the whole process went smoothly for you!
