Excellent work on all fronts, from estimate to completion. Really impressive given that the roof went on in the middle of January! Mike and Chris kept me up to date, Chris and his crew worked on some really cold days, they took special care to not disturb a old wood cathedral ceiling, and they got the job done fast. We have a summer residence in Orland Maine. We have for many months tried to find a reliable roofer to install a new shingle and metal roof on the main house and outlying buildings. After many no shows we finally found Smith Builders who answered our request immediately. Brandon Smith arrived as scheduled and provided us with an acceptable offer. We can not be more pleased with the final results.

We could not be happier with the work they did. They not only replaced my roof, but fixed issue with our siding and took down an old chimney. Very efficient, kind workers. They really worked as a team. House looks awesome. :)

I am extremely disappointed with Smith Builders. I contacted Smith Builders on March 15th, 2021 to inspect, and hopefully repair, a new, standing seam metal roof that another contractor had installed poorly. They were initially very responsive and within a week they arrived and used a drone to inspect the roof. At the time I was told they would send me the photos by the end of the next week or the week after because they were busy. Additionally they would put the cost of the inspection, $75.00... Read more
