I decided to go with Tamalpais Hardwood Floors partly because they installed the original flooring in the house, but also because they seemed really knowledgeable.The people who came out and did the install were incredibly polite and respectful. I could tell they cared about the quality of the work.
We had some of our old hardwood flooring refinished and stained. We also had some new hardwood put in an entrance way, a powder bathroom, up the steps, and in several hallways.
I would recommend Tamalpais Hardwood Floors, I was satisfied with their services.
I liked the products that they had, I liked their selection. I liked that the employees that came here were very nice and when there was a problem with the hardwood floors, like when there was a spot that I wasn't happy with, they didn't make a big deal about coming back and fixing it. It seemed like they wanted to make sure that they did a good job which I appreciated.

Tamalpais Hadwood Floors does a great job---they installed a new floor---helped me choose the best color and type of flooring. Previously, they refinished my living room hardwood floors---terrific job. In both cases, they charged less than other quotes (in one case, much less), were on time, very efficient and tidy. I highly recommend them.
