Terry Cooch established TLC Home, LLC in 2008, spending hundreds of hours assisting people in making their homes comfortable and functional. In 2012, Terry earned ASP certification as a stager. TLC Home now solely provides staging services, however, Terry's prior work as a professional organizer has given her the insight to provide practical ideas in her staging consultations, lessening the stress and enabling homeowners to take on the duties required to get their home sold. She enjoys both hands-on occupied and vacant staging, and she never fails to get enthusiastic when her staged property sells on the first day for top dollar and often multiple offers! Terry's team has over 50 years of staging experience and can handle any job, no matter how big or small. Fresh Staging with a Bold Red Focal Point
2,380-Square-Foot Two-Story Home | Severn, Maryland
This 2,380-square-foot renovated home in Severn was vacant, fresh, and move-in ready—but it also had one feature buyers weren't likely to forget: a fireplace with boldly painted red brick.
Rather than trying to disguise such a distinctive feature, TLC Home Staging & Design incorporated it into the overall presentation. We kept the furnishings fresh and modern, using a controlled palette and carefully selected accessories so the fireplace could become an intentional focal point without overwhelming the room.
Throughout the home, appropriately scaled furniture helped define the renovated spaces and gave buyers a better sense of proportion and flow. The staging added warmth to the vacant rooms while allowing the home's updates to remain front and center.
It's a staging principle we use often: not every unusual feature needs to be neutralized. Sometimes the better solution is to create enough balance around it that the feature feels interesting rather than distracting.
The result was a fresh, cohesive home with just enough personality to be memorable.

Terry is an angel with organizational skills! She has a very calm spirit, is very encouraging, and works miracles WITH you before your eyes. Her process is never complicated, her ideas and methods are repeatable, and I always come away wondering 'now why didn't I think of that?'! We are all subject to the Second Law of Thermodynamics: all closed systems tend to maximize entropy (disorder). Entropy needs to be on guard: T. Cooch is in the universe! LOL!
As a mortgage lender I deal with real estate agents on a daily basis. Any time someone mentions a listing of theirs that isn't selling I refer them to Terry Cooch and always get a very big thank you. Her prices are very reasonable and ALWAYS worth it in the end. Terry is a cut above the rest, truly.
